U18s Win against the Titans

On Saturday 24th September 2016 Coach Bilal and his U18s hosted the Northamptonshire Titans at Gateway College.
The Leicester Warriors were slow out the block as as we found ourselves down by 10 points at the end of the first quarter.
Great defence and hard work brought us back into the game by the half. Warriors were down by three. At the start of the third quarter the Warriors kept up the hard work and good defence to outscore the Titans 23 to 14, and in the fourth the Warriors kept their headin the game and took us to a 72-59 victory.
Top scorers Aarron 21, Dominic W 20 and Ernest with 13.
Coach Bilal said “We came to play tough D and although we started off slowly we eventually got into the game against a very tough Titans team. I am very proud of the boys as they kept fighting and I was able to use the depth on the bench to ensure we kept our lead”.
The U18s next play West Bromwich away on Saturday 1st October as Coach Bilal look for their 3rd win of the season.

Boys: 10am-12noon at Evington Leisure Centre on Saturdays
Girls: 10am-12noon at Gateway College on Saturdays
