Coach Chris Hallam

Coach Chris Hallam has been involved in Basketball for over 40 Years. In fact, he has been involved for so long that he can remember the game before we had a 3pt line, rules about the front court or even a shot clock. What a different game it was!

He played in his home City of Sheffield for the club that went on to become Sheffield Sharks continuing to play at University in Nottingham in the 1980’s.

He began coaching in the East Midlands in the late 1990’s at Ilkeston Outlaws, which at that point was close to his hometown, moving on to Derby Trailblazers and then on to Leicester Warriors in the summer of 2009. Since then, he has been working with Karl Brown and the Men’s team.

Outside of the club Chris has coached with England and GB at U15 and U16 level and in 2019 was the head coach for the Team GB at the World Transplant Games, where the team won a silver medal.
