U18s beat Shropshire Warriors

On the 12th November Coach Bilaal’s team hosted the Shropshire Warriors at Gateway College. It was a very high scoring game as both teams came out hard, at the end of the first quarter the scores were level 21 to 21.
In the second quarter Leicester had the edge and kept Shropshire to single digits and led the half 42 – 30.
In the third the pressure was kept on and coach Bilaal was able to run his deep bench, with many of the the players getting onto the score sheet. Quarters 1,2,3 the team scored 21 a time and the fourth quarter Leicester kept up the pressure and finished the game with a bang scoring a high 32 points.
Final score was 97-79. Coach Bilaal said “It was a great team performance today and teamwork is the key to success. We passed the ball round well. Well done under 18s”.
