U16s Win against Leicester Riders

The u16s coached by Arbham Giga and Brett Collins went 2-0 in the Basketball England Midlands League with a commanding win against Leicester Riders coached by Tahir Hajat at the Leicester Community Arena.
The Warriors got out the blocks slowly but their aggressive defense soon paid off forcing the Leicester Riders into a number of turnovers.
It was more of the same in the second half as Leicester Warriors defense stifled the Leicester Riders. With the game effectively over at the fourth the Warriors were able to field all the bench, and close out the game.
Leicester Warriors Coach Arbham Giga said “We played well today, we shot the ball well from the 3 point line and got the Riders into foul trouble early.”
Leicester Warriors continue their National League progress with another local derby against Dave Haris’s Leicester Dynamite who last year won the league.
