How did you start in basketball and when did you start playing?

After playing football all through my youth I went to watch my cousin play basketball just before my 16th birthday and immediately wanted to play. So my first experience of basketball outside of school was trials with Northampton, needless to say I did not get in but I was recommended a local club, Wellingborough Phoenix who I then played for from the U18s through to Men’s National League.

Your greatest achievement?

Either last season with Northamptonshire Titans; we were unbeaten in NBL Div 3 East, heading into the playoffs before COVID hit. I also managed to pick up a NBL player of the week award. Or getting to the finals of Midnight Madness that involved a coaching session with Lebron James, or being voted MVP for Wellingborough Phoenix Div 3 Men.
