U18s win by 42 over Coventry
- Updated: 18th December 2016
On the 3rd December 2016 the Leicester Warriors Unders 18s took the short trip down the M69 to face newcomers to the Midlands League GAC Coventry Tornadoes.
They came out the blocks hard on this one, and by the end of the first half the Warriors had scored 50 points to Coventry’s 26.
In the second quarter the Warriors kept up the pressure and Coventry had no answer.
The rest of the game was much the same with playermaker Aarron running the point like a general. The win was a convincing one, and the Warriors pressure and hard work the Warriors ended up winning the game 93 to 51.
Coach Bilaal “Great win from the under 18s. We tried to keep them to under 40 points and we tried to score 100 points – We did not achieve this but nevertheless it was a great win”.
Next week on the 4th December 2016, the Leicester Warriors take on Northants Thunder Basketball Club at Gateway College.
